We were assigned by Proini newspaper to design their new offices, that are situated in the ground floor of a building in the heart of Pyrgos. This space hosts the everyday working experience of twenty employees, so the main target of the company was to create a space filled with positive energy, which is very important in order to be creative.
We were therefore inspired to highlight the space’s sense of coziness and create a home-like environment, emphasizing on organic forms that create the sense of familiarity! In order to achieve that, we design working tables that are characterized from curves and embraces the employees. In the central space there is the creative department of the company, so we design a collective large scale working station that offers the opportunity of concurrent working collaborating on creative tasks. A large scale plant is placed in the center of the construction, creating an green umbrella over the employees. We aims to design a sophisticated workspace where grown-ups can come to work and feels very Zen. We achieve that with the sheer number of plants that spill out from every corner. It’s not necessarily a traditional design decision but it adds a tranquility and serenity to the space.
We choose relaxing colors with soft green and grey color palette that are combined with the high glass walls of the facades enabling a level of transparency and lightness.
